MANILA, Philippines — Metropolitan Manila Development Authority general manager Nicolas Torre III has surrendered one of the MMDA’s patrol vehicles to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) over EDSA busway use.

The MMDA vehicle was issued a show-cause order for unauthorized use of the EDSA busway and the use of a license plate that did not match the car’s registration.

The patrol vehicle will remain in the LTO custody pending investigation. The driver’s license has been suspended.
