Travel + Leisure honors Newport World Resorts’ international hotel brands for service excellence

RENOWNED as Asia’s most influential travel magazine, Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macau recently revealed its readers’ top picks for the region. The Philippines’ pioneer integrated resort received multiple accolades at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025 for its exceptional hospitality and guest experiences.

Sheraton Manila Hotel’s General Manager Anna Vergara and Hilton Manila’s General Manager Gagan Talwar were named among the Best General Managers in the Philippines, recognition of their visionary leadership and dedication to inspiring excellence. Hilton Manila’s Vega Pool was also honored as one of the country’s best hotel pools, praised for its resort-style design and serene ambiance.

Hotel Okura Manila secured a spot among the Top 10 Best City Hotels in the Philippines, recognized for blending Japanese omotenashi with Filipino warmth. Its attention to detail and intuitive service also earned it a place in the Michelin Hotels 2024 guide. Manila Marriott Hotel was likewise listed in the Michelin Hotels 2025 for its consistent delivery of refined luxury.
