MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Erwin Tulfo has urged the government to help tennis star Alex Eala pay the potential $10,000 penalty for skipping the mandatory Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) China Open. Eala withdrew from the Masters tournament in Beijing to represent the Philippines in the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026, scheduled from Sept. 19 to Oct.
