UAAP: La Salle makes ‘statement’ with long-awaited win over NU

MANILA, Philippines — La Salle’s Shevana Laput and Angel Canino were hell-bent on ending a five-game skid against defending champion National University. With Laput and Canino spearheading the charge, there was no denying La Salle on Sunday as it pulled off a first-round sweep after ending its losing spell against NU in four sets. Laput
