MANILA, Philippines–The action in the first round of the UAAP Season 89 basketball tournaments opens on September 13.
The league has not released the full first-round schedule of the basketball games after adjusting it to give way to the Asian Games 2026, where some of the student-athletes are competing for Gilas Pilipinas.
Only five game days are scheduled for the month of September.

September 13, Sunday – Smart Araneta Coliseum
- 12pm – FEU Tamaraws vs Adamson Falcons
- 2:30pm – La Salle Green Archers vs NU Bulldogs
- 6pm – UP Fighting Maroons vs UST Growling Tigers – separate tickets
September 16, Wednesday – Mall of Asia Arena
- 3pm – Ateneo Blue Eagles vs UE Red Warriors
- 5:30pm – La Salle Green Archers vs UST Growling Tigers
September 19, Saturday – Smart Araneta Coliseum
- 3pm – NU Bulldogs vs UE Red Warriors
- 5:30pm – Ateneo Blue Eagles vs UP Fighting Maroons
September 26, Saturday – Mall of Asia Arena
