UnionBank, GMG Productions bring Tony award-winning musical to Filipino audiences

UNIONBANK has partnered with GMG Productions to bring award-winning musicals and theatrical experiences to audiences for its 2025 entertainment season. Kicking things off is the internationally acclaimed "Come From Away," the Tony Award-winning musical that captivated Broadway, the West End, and even TikTok.

The Gala Night for "Come From Away" was held on June 6, 2025, at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater. As the season opener, it ushers in exclusive perks for UnionBank Credit and Debit cardholders, including priority ticket presales, exclusive discounts, and curated live experiences.

The musical tells the true story of 7,000 stranded passengers following the events of 9/11, and the small Canadian town that welcomed them. Its Filipino-led cast brings fresh depth to this global tale.
