MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development will start the special payout for members of tricycle operators and drivers’ association or TODA and public utility jeepney drivers who were not included in the initial list of cash aid recipients in the National Capital Region, a DSWD official said yesterday.

“We will conduct the special payout next week for the drivers within the National Capital Region who have not receive their cash relief assistance. This include the drivers who are included in the supplemental list or the drivers who were not in the list, but, after consultation with their companies and groups, were included,” DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumlao said in a statement.

Dumlao said the payout for TODA members would start at 7 a.m. on April 14.

The designated payout sites on April 14 are the Pacquiao court and Buena Park court in Caloocan; Malabon sports complex oval in Hulong Duhat; Executive Blue Bldg. of Mandaluyong city hall; Dakota covered court in Manila; Makati city quadrangle; Marikina sports center; and Muntinlupa sports center.

Also designated are the Quezon Memorial Circle (Commonwealth gate) in Quezon City; Parañaque city sports complex; Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay; Kapitolyo amphitheater in Pasig; atrium of San Juan city hall; Phase 1B multipurpose building at NBBS Kaunlaran in Navotas; and Valenzuela people’s park amphitheater.

For April 15, the TODA members can get their payout at Mercado de Lago in Taguig and the Pateros Elementary School in Pateros.

Dumlao said the payouts for unlisted jeepney drivers on April 14 would be at Phase 1B multipurpose building in NBBS Kaunlaran, Navotas; Makati city quadrangle; Executive Blue Bldg. of Mandaluyong city hall; activity area of Marikina sports center; Muntinlupa sports center; Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay; Kapitolyo Amphitheater in Pasig; and the atrium of San Juan city hall.  

For the April 15 payout, jeepney drivers could proceed to the Pacquiao court and Buena Park court in Caloocan; Malabon sports complex oval in Hulong Duhat; Dakota covered court in Manila; Pateros Elementary School; Parañaque city sports complex; Mercado de Lago in Taguig; Valenzuela City people’s park amphitheater; and Quezon Memorial Circle (Commonwealth gate) in Quezon City.

In Las Piñas, the payout for the cash aid distribution to TODA members and PUJ drivers is scheduled on April 22 at the Aguilar sports complex.

Dumlao advised jeepney drivers to check on the DSWD official site for postings of the list of beneficiaries, as well as updates on the schedule of special payouts for the Transport Network Vehicle Service and motorcycle taxi drivers.

She added that a schedule for the payout for delivery riders who were not included in the first rollout would be posted at the site.
