As per our previous article, the vivo V50 Lite 5G has officially been unveiled. This is an alternative offering to the vivo V50, which has recently been made available in the Philippines.
The V50 Lite 5G has a 6.77-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display also houses a 32-megapixel camera on top and optical fingerprint sensor at the bottom.
Powering this device is a Dimensity 6300. This comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Rear optics include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide.
It packs a massive 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W of fast charging via USB Type-C. vivo says that the battery will still work at 80% capacity after five (5) years of use.
This will ship with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC. Other features include its stereo speakers and IP65 rating.
The vivo V50 Lite 5G is already available in Spain, where it retails for EUR 400 (~PHP 25K). Interested users can check it out via this online store, available in Gold and Black.
There should also be other colorways arriving in Purple and Green. We’ll update readers once details arrive on the V50 Lite 5G’s availability in the Philippines.

Communication graduate, closet cynic, and kid at heart. Duane is a rare person to find, quite literally. He often takes to himself but has proven his mettle in tech media with his quick wits. Well, the portfolio of scriptwriting, web content, and public relations help too, we suppose. As a homebody, he often spends his time on the streaming platform Twitch or ‘farming’ gaming clips with friends. He is also an avid fan of round glasses and anything relative to blueberries.
