The vivo Y19e has made its debut in India as the newest addition to their entry-level Y-series line. It follows the Y19 launched in 2019 and Y19s that was introduced last year.

It sports a 6.74-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, it’s powered by a UNISOC T7225 12-nanometer chip clocking up to 1.8GHz. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB via a dedicated slot.

For optics, it has a 13-megapixel main paired with an auxiliary sensor. It also comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Feature-wise, it has an AI Eraser and an AI Photo Enhancer.

This phone packs a sizable 5,500mAh battery with support for 15W of charging via USB Type-C. Other highlights include its side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP64 rating, and MIL-STD-810H certification.

The vivo Y19e comes in Majestic Green and Titanium Silver, priced at INR 7,999 (~PHP 5K). It will ship with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. There’s no details yet on its availability in the Philippines, but we’ll keep readers updated.

Communication graduate, closet cynic, and kid at heart. Duane is a rare person to find, quite literally. He often takes to himself but has proven his mettle in tech media with his quick wits. Well, the portfolio of scriptwriting, web content, and public relations help too, we suppose. As a homebody, he often spends his time on the streaming platform Twitch or ‘farming’ gaming clips with friends. He is also an avid fan of round glasses and anything relative to blueberries.
