MANILA, Philippines — The number of voters who registered for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections has reached over 2.6 million, according to the Commission on Elections.
Based on the Comelec’s data from Oct. 20, 2025 to Feb. 28, 2,633,268 people registered to vote in the BSKE.
Of the number, 1,374,989 are female and 1,258,279 are male.
Calabarzon posted the highest number of voter applicants at 464,567, followed by Central Luzon with 307,103 and Metro Manila with 277,477.
Bangsamoro logged 34,681 voter registrants.
Two other regions with a low number of applicants are the Cordillera Administrative Region with 35,552 and Caraga with 80,495.
As for the Comelec’s register anywhere/anytime program, it recorded 4,373 applicants.
The nationwide voter registration for the BSKE, except in Bangsamoro, will run until May 18.
In Bangsamoro, registration began on Feb. 9 and will end on March 31.
