MANILA, Philippines — Voter registrants for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) have reached over 1.35 million, the Commission on Elections said.
Comelec data showed that 1,356,410 voter applicants were recorded from Oct. 20, 2025 to Jan. 18, 2026.
Of the figure, 718,457 are female and 637,953 are male.
Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) posted the highest number of voter registrants with 271,033, followed by Central Luzon with 159,473 and National Capital Region with 157,421.
The Cordillera Autonomous Region registered 17,490 voter applicants.
Two other regions with low number of voter applicants are Mimaropa with 41,405 and Western Visayas with 44,693.
There were 327,575 registrants for the Sangguniang Kabataan elections. The voter applicants for the barangay polls reached 1,028,835.
The nationwide voter registration for the 2026 BSKE will run until May 18.
Applicants may register at any satellite registration sites or Comelec offices from Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
