WATCH: Caloocan voters name top issues they want addressed

Some residents of Caloocan City share their views and concerns as they choose the leaders who will serve them in the next three years

MANILA, Philippines – Caloocan City, the third most vote-rich locality in Metro Manila, is still led by familiar names following the 2025 midterm polls.

Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan was successful in his reelection bid, defeating former senator Antonio Trillanes IV. His father, Oscar, was reelected 1st District congressman, while his brother, Enteng, also retained his councilor seat in the same district.

Rappler talked to some Caloocan voters about their views and concerns. They weighed in on the political dynasty in the city, the quality of medical services in the city’s three public hospitals, incentives for senior citizens, and heavy traffic, among other issues.
