Did you know that eight of the 24 senators in the 20th Congress are siblings?
The Senate still appears to be a family affair. With the election of Representative Erwin Tulfo to the Senate, he will join his brother, incumbent Senator Raffy Tulfo. Meanwhile, as Senator Cynthia Villar‘s term ends in June, her daughter, Representative Camille Villar, will join her brother, Senator Mark Villar, in the 20th Congress.
Senator Pia Cayetano‘s reelection secures her a fresh six-year term and will rejoin her brother, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, in the next Congress. Senator Alan still has three years left for his term.
Then, of course, the Ejercito-Estrada brothers. Senators Jinggoy Estrada and JV Ejercito, still have three years left in their term.
