"We Aren't Kids Anymore," a musical by songwriter-composer Drew Gasparini, is set to have a Philippine staging this May.

According to the Barefoot Theatre Collaborative, the coming-of-age musical will be staged from May 2 to 25 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati.

Tickets are now available and are priced at P2,700 for Silver and P3,200 for Gold.

The show is suitable for audience members aged 13 years old and above. Viewers ages 13 to 17 will be permitted as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.

"We Aren't Kids Anymore" follows the perspectives of five individuals, spotlighting the struggles of adulthood, the realities of chasing one's dreams, and the wonder of friendship.

The Philippine staging's cast includes Myke Salomon and Gab Pangilinan of "Mula Sa Buwan" fame, Maronne Cruz, Luigi Quesada, and Gio Gahol.

Directed by Rem Zamora, the musical features a poem by Keith White, as well as orchestrations and vocal arrangements by Justin Goldner and Drew Gasparini.

Gasparini is known for his scores for the Broadway musicals "The Karate Kid," "Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical," and "It's Kind of a Funny Story."

Meanwhile, Barefoot Theatre Collaborative is the theater company behind the Filipino musicals "Mula Sa Buwan" and "Bar Boys: A New Musical," among others.
