Despite falling short of winning the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 crown, Winwyn Marquez is still grateful for her pageant stint.

On Instagram, the Kapuso beauty queen shared a portrait of herself in her magenta evening gown designed by Ryan Uson along with a heartfelt reflection on her journey.

"Everything about this journey was so unexpected... a beautiful surprise I never thought would be mine," Winwyn wrote.

"There were days I felt strong, and days when nerves and doubts hit me hard. And as a mom, people expect us to always be tough but I've learned that it's just as important to be kind to ourselves, too," she added.

According to Reina Hispanoamericana 2017, her return to pageantry was never just about winning the crown—it was about proving that motherhood doesn't mark the end of dreams, but rather the beginning of something new, something even more meaningful.

"I took the crown of courage... of standing tall and speaking my truth. showing that you can be both devoted and driven... that you can live boldy, love deeply and chase your dreams no matter the season you're in. That, for me, is already a victory," she wrote.

Winwyn finished first-runner up and for the Filipina beauty queen that achievement "feels like a dream already."

Ending her post, the actress and mom of one thanked everyone who supported and believed in her.

"To everyone who supported me, believed in me, and stayed with me through this... Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I hope I made you proud. Pilipinas, maraming maraming salamat and to the Universe... Thank you for making this happen," she wrote.

Winwyn was among the 66 ladies who competed in the Miss Universe Philippines 2025. She represented Muntinlupa.

Meanwhile, Ahtisa Manalo of Quezon Province was crowned as the new Miss Universe Philippines queen. She will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025, which will take place on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
