Yasmien Kurdi has chosen homeschooling for the meantime for her eldest daughter, Ayesha, as she undergoes therapy.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actress expressed her gratitude to several loved ones, including her former high school teacher and principal, for supporting and providing a safe space to Ayesha.

"We have chosen homeschooling for now under Seibo College Foundation while Ayesha is in continuous therapy with Ms. Lou, thank you so much ma’am!" wrote Yasmien.

Her post included photos of Ayesha in her homeschooling journey. In one snap, Yasmien's husband, Rey Soldevilla, can be seen overseeing his daughter's studies.

Yasmien added that she appreciates all the schools and individuals who reached out to them.

She also thanked her priest friends, teachers of Seibo College Foundation, and more for their love before ending her post with the hashtag #2ndMonthHomeSchooling.

Last December, the actress took to social media to air out the alleged bullying that her daughter experienced from her classmates in Colegio San Agustin (CSA).

CSA, however, said in a statement that "there appears to be no bullying" that happened in December.

In the same month, Yasmien met with Department of Education chief Sonny Angara "to discuss potential solutions and strategies" to address bullying in schools.
