27 suspects nabbed with P59-M smuggled cigarettes in Western Mindanao

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – The Philippine Army’s 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division (1ID) has intensified its support for law enforcement agencies in the campaign against cigarette smuggling across Western Mindanao, resulting in the seizure of at least P59 million worth of contraband and the apprehension of 27 suspects since the first quarter of 2026.
