Ashley Ortega says she sent her mother flowers but is giving her time: 'Tamang pacing'

Now that Ashley Ortega is back in the outside world, one of the issues she wants to face is her relationship with her mother.

Before she was evicted from Bahay ni Kuya in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” over the weekend, she received a letter from her mom, offering reconciliation.

The letter said: “Matagal na kitang pinatawad. Matagal na rin akong nag-aantay sa ‘yo. Tandaan mo, mahal na mahal kita, kayong mga anak ko. Ginagawa ko lahat para sa inyo kaya ganiyan ako ka-strict at maalaga. Mag-ingat ka at magdasal ka parati.”

Ashley burst into tears upon reading it, and said she hopes to meet after leaving the PBB house.

In an interview on "Unang Hirit" on Tuesday, Ashley said she wondered, "Do I deserve a letter from my mom saying those word to me?"

"Syempre I left her, I haven't spoken to her," she added.

The letter was the first message she got from her mom in years.

Since she only received it two days ago, Ashley said she wants to give her mother time first before meeting her.

However, she sent her mother flowers yesterday.

"Tamang pacing," Ashley said. "Kahapon 'yung first full day ko sa outside world."

Previously, Ashley said that she hasn’t talked to her mom for three years and that she hopes she can forgive her.

Ashley and her Kapamilya partner, AC Bonifacio, were the first to be evicted in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.”
