MANILA, Philippines — “Bar Boys: After School” director Kip Oebanda revealed that his Metro Manila Film Festival entry also tackled corruption in the government.

During the grand media conference of his movie, Kip said that transparency should be mandatory in the government.

Happening now: The Bar Boys are back! Carlo Aquino, Kean Cipriano, Rocco Nacino, and Enzo Pineda reprise their roles in the sequel "Bar Boys: After School."

But there are the big fish that’s why we don’t have any accountability for them because there’s no transparency. Number one yon."

Kip also said that Congress should pass the Anti-Dynasty law.

“Number two, tingin ko, kailangan natin ng mga batas na pipigil sa monopoliya ng mga ilang pamilya sa gobyerno natin, so I am very for anti-dynasty law. I speak for the whole cast na they would prefer na walang dynasty sa Pilipinas. Why? Because when you collect power and put it together in one sector and in one group, what you do is you make it hard to hold those all accountable," Kip said.

“So if there are people in Congress, in Senate, in local government, at hawak nila ang lahat ng kapangyarihan, hawak nila ang kompanya, ibig sabihin mas mahihirapan tayo to hold them accountable. And so, we support anti-dynasty law and stricter, harsher punishment sa lahat ng corrupt. Kailangan natin yan kasi mayaman ang Pilipinas, ninanakawan lang tayo," he added.

The film's star Carlo Aquino echoed Kip's statement.

Nadi-disconnect ka," he said.

“So, ako rin, yun talaga yung kapag mabibigyan ako ng pagkakataon,” he added.

"Bar Boys: After School" will be shown in theaters on December 25.
