Benedict Cua holds Zhua Zhou Chinese ceremony for son Aleck's 1st birthday

Aside from his grand birthday party, Benedict Cua also held a Zhua Zhou ceremony for his son, Aleck.

On Instagram, Benedict shared photos from the traditional Chinese ritual, where first birthday celebrants are presented with a variety of objects, each symbolizing a potential future.

Benedict said Aleck's ceremony was filled with laughs and surprises.

"I was rooting for 'future lawyer,' grandma hoped for 'doctor... but our little dumpling went straight for the book—symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and endless possibilities," he said.

"Whatever you want to be, we'll turn the pages with you!"

Benedict announced in May 2024 that he is now a father.

The content creator has been happily posting about his son, whom he fondly calls Bao-bao. He previously shared their photos on Halloween, Christmas, and Chinese New Year.

Aside from vlogging, Benedict previously dabbled in acting. He last appeared in the GMA Prime series "Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday."
