A man who suffered a stroke in San Pablo, Laguna received help from GMA Kapuso Foundation.

In Mel Tiangco's report in "24 Oras" on Monday, Eric Constantino was found lying on their bathroom's floor by his daughter Gemarie in May.

"Nakita ko po si papa nasa sahig na, nakahawak po sa ulo niya. Pero may malay naman po siya," Gemarie said.

With the help of the foundation, Eric received proper medication in a hospital in Laguna.

"Sobrang taas ng blood pressure, 210 over 110. And based sa resulta ng CT scan niya, may nagdugong ugat. Maaring nakuha niya sa pagkain, lifestyle din niya, pagkain ng maaalat," Dr. Marinica Ciara Palma, an Internal Medicine doctor from Laguna Provincial Hospital said.

As of now, Eric is still unable to speak and is continuing to recover in the hospital. Palma said that his full recovery will take time.

"Nag-undergo siya ng physical therapy and continuous medications," she said.

Aside from medical assistance, Eric also received medicine, groceries, and hygiene kit.
