Filipina trans woman Keylyn Trajano has been appointed as Universal Woman Arabia 2025.

The announcement was shared through a collaboration post on Instagram linked to Keylyn's account, as well as Universal Woman Arabia national director Rev Reyes.

"In life, we often encounter moments of uncertainty and challenge. The saying 'If a door closes, another one opens' serves as a powerful reminder that every ending is merely a new beginning. This sentiment resonates deeply with [Keylyn Trajano], our [Universal Woman Arabia] 2025 who embodies strength, resilience, and hope," Universal Woman Arabia said.

Keylyn also shared snaps from her sashing ceremony on her Instagram Stories.

She was crowned by reigning Universal Woman titleholder and fellow Filipina Maria Gigante.

Keylyn was among the candidates introduced last year for Miss Universe Philippines - Pampanga 2025. She was supposedly the first trans woman to compete in the national pageant but later withdrew from the competition.

According to its official website, the Universal Woman pageant "is a platform that champions the unique brilliance and beauty of women making a positive impact in the world today."

The pageant welcomes delegates aged 25 to 45, with no restrictions in height, weight, and marital status.
