MANILA, Philippines — FPJ Panday Bayanihan party-list has reaffirmed its growing influence and public trust, emerging as one of the top choices in the recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.
The party-list, under the leadership of first nominee Brian Poe, secured 2.45 percent of voter preference, an increase from 1.75 percent prior, positioning itself for a congressional seat if elections were held today.
Poe is joined on the slate by second nominee Mark Patron, a respected community leader, and third nominee Hiyas Dolor, wife of Oriental Mindoro Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor.
Despite being the only party-list among the survey’s top eight without current representation in Congress, FPJ Panday Bayanihan continues to resonate with voters.
“We are truly grateful to our fellow Filipinos for their overwhelming support,” said Poe.
“This result fuels our determination to bring meaningful reforms that will uplift the lives of those who need it most. We will continue to prioritize food, progress and justice as based on our platform and sectoral consultations,” he added.
Since its founding in 2013, FPJ Panday Bayanihan has remained steadfast in its mission as a pro-poor organization to assist vulnerable communities, initially responding to the devastation of Typhoon Maring.
Guided by the values of Poe’s late grandfather, actor Fernando Poe Jr., the party’s platform is built on food security, economic progress and social justice, advocating policies that benefit marginalized Filipinos.
The party-list has been organizing medical missions, legal aid clinics and public service caravans to stay true to their mission of public service.
Poe recently opened the party-list’s headquarters in San Carlos, Pangasinan, which was his grandfather’s hometown. Poe said this move is to fulfill a promise to reconnect with his roots and give back to his grandfather’s community.
As the 2025 elections approach, with 156 party-list groups competing for seats in Congress, FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s performance in the latest survey underscores its growing presence as a people-driven movement committed to real change.
The survey, conducted from Jan. 8 to 11 with a sample of 2,400 respondents, carries a margin of error of ±1.96 percent.
