MANILA, Philippines — Luisa Viktoria Malz finished training with the Reign Project Management before competing with other international delegates at the ongoing Miss Charm International pageant in Vietnam.

"I would like to show the pageant community that Germans are more than what they see. We hope to become a powerhouse like the Philippines!" said the German beauty queen during an intimate media event in Taguig.

The delegate has already travelled to 14 countries ahead of her Vietnam arrival and speaks  English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Portuguese, and Vietnamese.

Learning German and Portuguese are from both sides of the family, meanwhile Luisa's been reading up on Vietnamese for the past six months, "I'm bringing my heart and heritage to the competition."

Luisa explained that she followed the footsteps of Filipina-German beauty queeen Anna Valencia Lakrini to train with Reign Project Management.

"I'm happy that I decided to train here. I was part of the Queens camp in Germany, which is also run by a Filipino based in Germany. The Philippines helped in shaping me into the woman I am today," she added.

Before deciding to compete with Miss Charm International, Luisa already placed in the Top 20 of Miss Grand International 2021 and in the Top 24 of Miss Supranational 2025.

Born to a German father and Brazilian mother, Luisa is one of many full-bloodied foreigners who trained with Filipino training camps.

"I played volleyball for Germany before I moved to Sydney. I'm also a fashion designer and will be wearing some of my designs in Vietnam," Luisa shared.

Reign Project Management's operations manager Jam Aquino shared they've mentored over 20 delegates including Miss Philippines Earth 2023 Yllana Marie Aduana, Miss Cosmo Philippines 2025 Chelsea Fernandez, Miss Environment International 2025 Arianna Pantaleon, and the previously mentioned Anna.

Before she flew to Vietnam, Miss Charm Germany 2025 Luisa Viktoria Malz made a stopover in Manila to train with the Reign Project Management; who had prepared Miss Supranational Germany 2025 Anna Valencia Lakrini for her first runner-up finish behind Brazil's Eduarda Braum.

"Charm, for me, means culture, tradition, and education. Charm is like a smile, it should be something people can take with them after meeting you," said Luisa. "I volunteer in nursing homes because my grandfather is suffering from Alzheimer's and dementia, which is hard for us."

Luisa also shared her evening gowns are designed by Daniel Manela and her pasarela training was with Ian Mendajar, who recently trained Ahtisa Manalo for Miss Universe 2025.

"Passport power should not hold nor stop a delegate from achieving her dreams. I'm looking forward to our opening dance number come finals night," Luisa ended in what appeared to be a subtle dig at Miss Universe president Raul Rocha's comments about beauty queens and their passports.

Luisa is currently in Vietnam with our very own Cyrille Payumo competing for the Miss Charm International 2025 crown.

The competition runs from November 27 through December 13, with the coronation night slated on December 12th. Rashmita Nasindran of Malaysia will crown her successor. Stay tuned!
