Are you ready for one of the biggest musical films of 2025?

Universal Pictures has finally given fans a first look at the stars of Wicked: For Good in a teaser uploaded on Tuesday night, June 3 (PH Time).

According to the post, the official trailer for the highly anticipated sequel of Wicked (2024) is set for release on Wednesday night, June 4 (PST), in line with a one-night-only showing in the US and Canada.

“Thank Goodness!” Universal Pictures wrote online. “[Wicked: For Good] trailer tomorrow.”

Wicked: For Good premieres on November 21, 2025, exactly a year after the first part, as a nod to its original stage production, which was split into two acts.

The second movie will pick up where the first movie concluded, “Defying Gravity.”

It will also “delve into the events leading up to The Wizard of Oz, revealing how Elphaba ultimately becomes the Wicked Witch of the West and how Glinda transforms into the Good Witch.”
