Jiggly's death was announced by her family through an Instagram post on Sunday, saying that the drag artist "passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends."
In the statement, her family described Jiggly or Bianca Castro in real life as someone who was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy.
"She touched countless lives through her artistry, activism, and the genuine connection she fostered with fans around the world. Her legacy is one of love, courage, and light. Though her physical presence is gone, the joy she shared and the space she helped create for so many will remain forever," they wrote. "She will be deeply missed, always loved, and eternally remembered."
Previously, Jiggly's family announced that she will not appear in the upcoming season of the show nor participate in any public engagements indefinitely due to a "serious health setback."
According to her family, she was hospitalized and has lost "most of her right leg" due to a severe infection.
Jiggly was among the judges of all three seasons of "Drag Race Philippines." She competed in Season 4 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" and Season 6 of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars."
