MANILA, Philippines — Households should expect higher costs of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) this month, following a rollback at the start of the year.

In separate advisories, Petron and Solane announced that prices of their LPG products would increase by P0.70 and P0.73 per kilogram, respectively, effective Feb. 1.

“This reflects the international contract price of LPG for the month of February,” said Petron.

Cleanfuel also raised its auto LPG price by P0.35 per liter.

Prior to these adjustments, prices of 11-kg household LPG in Metro Manila ranged from P860 to P1,140 in January, data from the Department of Energy showed.

Auto LPG, meanwhile, was commonly priced at P42.55 per liter.

Last month, prices of Petron-branded LPG products declined by P0.90 per kg.
