When you hear or read the word “beauty,” what usually comes to mind? What person or image do you think of?

The truth is, each of us will have our own concept of beauty, and that's perfectly fine. But we must never forget the fact that true beauty is not just about external looks (as cliché as it sounds)—it goes way beyond that.

As it says in the Good Book, “You should not use outward aids to make yourselves beautiful, such as the way you fix your hair, or the jewelry you put on, or the dresses you wear. Instead, your beauty should consist of your true inner self, the ageless beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of the greatest value in God's sight.” (1 Peter 3:3-4)

This is one of the topics that will be covered at the Jewels Conference, an inspirational women's gathering set to take place on Aug. 2, 2025, at Space at One Ayala in Makati City. It is an event that seeks to empower women in their personal journey of balancing their roles, careers, relationships, and dreams.

Jewels Conference 2025: She Will Not Be Moved

According to the conference organizers, this year’s conference theme, “She Will Not Be Moved,” aims to gather women “not as women who have it all figured out, but as women who choose to trust, to rise, and to stand—because God is in our midst.”

Participants are invited “into a sacred space where your story is safe, your spirit is strengthened, and your faith is reignited,” and to “celebrate the truth that even when the ground trembles, the woman who walks with God will remain steady. Not by her own power, but by the One who holds her up.”

Celebrity “momshie” Melai Cantiveros-Francisco will be sharing about “Unshakable Beauty: Embracing Your God-Given Identity” as a plenary speaker at the conference. She will be joined by registered psychologist and author Dr. Michele Alginay.

Other plenary speakers will talk about important aspects of women's lives, specifically:

  • “Anchored Grace: Encountering Christ and His Love” — with author and marriage coach Love Cosio, trauma-informed clarity coach Ivy Sepe, worship leaders Bricq Murao and Pauline Guevarra.
  • “Steadfast Faith: Deeply Rooted Through Life’s Storms” — with registered social worker and Light of Jesus Pastoral Care co-founder Ditas Español

What to expect beyond the plenary sessions

For the first time ever, the Jewels Conference will also have breakout classes about specific topics:

  • “Loving the Skin You’re In: Body Image” — with singer-songwriter, host, and alopecia awareness advocate Abby Asistio
  • “The Art of Catholic Motherhood” — with author and marriage coach Love Cosio, and Intentional Parenting Philippines’ co-founder Tina Rodriguez
  • “The Feminine Temple: Fertility, Loss, and the Sacred Cycle” — with obstetrician-gynecologist and “God’s Doctor for Women” Dr. Kat Remollino
  • “Wholehearted Healing: Nurturing Emotional, Mental & Physical Wellness” — with US-certified professional life coach Anne Relova and life coach Ning Tadena

In addition to the plenary sessions and breakout classes, there will also be special messages by lay preacher and bestselling author Bo Sanchez and his wife Marowe, and a special message by author and co-founder of the Woman of Worth retreats Lallaine Gogna. The Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession will also be available.

Be blessed and be a blessing to women in need

This women’s conference is especially unique because participants will not only be blessed by their overall experience—they will also be able to share their blessings with women in need. This is because Jewels Conference supports two “Feast Mercy Ministries” for women, namely Grace to Be Born Maternity Home and Nursery, which helps pregnant women in crisis, and Jeremiah Foundation, a shelter for young girls who are sexual abuse survivors.

So if you’re a woman who is craving some encouraging “me-time,” or you just need a mega-dose of inspiration, and help others too, join Jewels Conference 2025. You’ll surely be better for it!

Jewels Conference tickets are available at www.jewelsconference.com. For those who cannot go to the conference venue at Space at One Ayala, tickets for online access are also available.
