Indonesian singer NIKI took her Filipino fans "around the world" with her Buzz concert tour held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday.

This is the first of her 3-night concert in the country. The second day is happening today with the final day on March 1 at the Araneta Coliseum.

After Indonesian indie rock band Reality Club opened the show, NIKI kicked things off with "Buzz," the title track from her third album and the new track "Colossal Loss" along with "Keeping Tabs" from her sophomore album "Nicole."

She expressed how happy she was to be back in the country and thanked the audience for the sold out shows.

"I'm so, so happy to be back here. Thank you, guys, so much for coming. You sold out the show like instantly. Thank you so, so much," she said during her speech.

Talking about her writing process with "Buzz," NIKI said she wrote the songs from her journey around the world and she wants fans to experience the same with them through her concert.

"They're calling it 'Buzz Around The World' this time, well, because I wrote this album all around the world and now I get to play it all around the world. Tonight, we're gonna be taking you all around the world with 'Buzz'. You wanna come?" the singer said.

"It might be a little bit of a wild ride, you know? There might be flames, storms, lightning, thunder ... but you can handle it, right? We're strong girls. We're gonna have a fun time tonight. Can you feel it?" she added.

After playing "Focus," a single from her latest album, fans went on a trip down memory lane with her hit tracks "urs," "Autumn," and the Filipino fan favorite, "lowkey."

Things went mellow when it came to the acoustic set and NIKI shared how she has interacted with many fans and hoped that she was able to share their story through her music.

"I just wanna say that I feel so, so honored to get to do what I love and travel the world and I've met so many of you at this point and I've heard your stories whether it's online or in person," the singer said.

"It has been clear to me that no matter where we are in the world, we all know about love and loss, and joy and pain. Music just makes us feel all that. I can only hope that you hear songs in my music, my lyrics and make you feel it along too. Long story short, thank you for being here from the bottom of my heart. I love you, guys," she added.

She went on to play tracks from her latest album "Did You Like Her In The Morning? and "Take Care" followed by one of her classics "La La Lost You" released in 2019.

For NIKI, Filipino fans has never disappointed fans when she gauges their energy during concerts and continued with "Buzz" tracks "Blue Moon",

"Strong Girl," and "Tsunami."

"My favorite way to gauge how loud the crowd is ... well you guys, have done pretty well in the past. I just wanna say that, I think you can do better than that. We can keep up-ing it every show I have here in Manila. It's gonna get higher," she said.

It was an emotional moment anew for fans as they turned on their flashlights and sang "Oceans And Engines", another crowd favorite from the album “Nicole."

For this concert, NIKI has a special surprise for the outfit theme of the day. With "Going Under" as the theme, she sang a cover of "Linger" by The Cranberries.

She showed her piano skills with "The Apartment We Won’t Share" from "Nicole" along with "Paths" and "Magnets" from "Buzz" and concluded the set with playing the guitar "Heirloom Pain" and "Nothing Can.

"If you felt lost or afraid but you still stepped out into the world and gave it your best shot. I just wanna say I see you and I'm proud of you," she said.

NIKI did not disappoint fans and played more songs such as "High School In Jakarta" and the Filipino staple "Backburner" mixed to its fellow "Nicole" track "Take A Chance With Me."
