MANILA, Philippines — Leila Alcasid, daughter of OPM icon Ogie Alcasid and former beauty queen and artist Michelle van Eimeren, has tied the knot with her long-time partner, musician Mito Fabie, in Sydney, Australia.
The proud father shared snaps from what appeared to be an intimate garden ceremony held on Thursday, May 29.
"Pag-ibig. Pagmamahalang walang patid. Kami ay nagbubunyi (Love. An unending love. We rejoice)," Ogie wrote in his Instagram post, which featured a photo of the newlyweds.
"We love you, @curtismito and @leilalcasid. The Lord bless you both!" he added.
Fabie — better known in the music industry as Curtismith — also shared photos from the celebration, captioned: "Ohana araw gabi for life. Thank you for your well wishes. Mabuhay ang bagong kasal (Ohana day and night for life. Thank you for your well wishes. Long live the newlyweds)!"

In a separate post, Ogie shared a touching moment where he walked Leila down the aisle alongside Mark Morrow, the husband of van Eimeren.
"Fatherhood," he simply captioned the post.
Among those present at the wedding were Leila's sister Sarah, Ogie's wife Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and their son Nate, along with other family members and close friends.
Alcasid and van Eimeren, who were married for 12 years, separated in 2007 but have since maintained a close relationship, co-parenting their daughters Leila and Sarah. Their blended family setup has often been admired by the public.
Fabie and Leila announced their engagement in September 2024 after five years of dating.
