Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino ARMY only have less than a year of waiting left to see BTS perform in the Philippines, but the anticipation remains high for fans of OT7.

Ticket information to any of the upcoming Asia concerts remains uncertain but audio streaming platform Spotify is playing its part in bringing BTS closer to fans.

Spotify selected Manila as one of five cities, and just the second in Southeast Asia, to host the "Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE" immersive fan experience.

This attraction running at Makati's Glorietta Activity Center from May 1 to 3, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on all days, consists of different interactive zones celebrating BTS.

The entire space is inspired by "Swim," the lead single off the K-pop act's comeback album "Arirang," with a lighthouse overlooking warehouses on a flat dock.

One tent houses the "Fan Chant Lighthouse" where different ARMY gather together to practice their fan chant skills as BTS lyrics are projected on the wall.

Across from there is the "Deep Dive Stream," which has a reflective ceiling and two LED screen walls playing new music videos, letting fans really feel part of the shoot as they cheer for their biases.

Beside that tent is the "Wave Room" where fans can take a photo in front of the "Arirang" logo or with a portait of members RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Suga, and Jungkook which flank both walls.

Printed photos can be collected in a dedicated space across where, after posting their experience online with necessary hashtags, can get an exclusive ARMY Swim Club Supplies kit.

Just beside this area is the "Sound Wave Bar" where fans can enjoy a Swimswide-themed drink after completing the BTS Music Quiz found on Spotify.

Prior to its March 20 release, BTS' "Arirang" was the most pre-saved album Countdown Pages in Spotify history.

Upon dropping it became the platform's most streamed album in a single day in 2026 and the most streamed K-Pop album in Spotify history.

The "Arirang" world tour is currently slated to end in Manila on March 13 and 14, 2027 which would mark a decade since BTS last performed as a group in the Philippines.

No venue has been announced for either day though speculations are ramping up again that both concerts will take place at the SMDC Festival Ground in Parañaque.
