Fresh off her victory as Miss Eco International 2025, the Philippines’ very own Alexie Brooks is looking ahead to a year filled with purpose, travel, and dedicated service.
Facing the media on Thursday, Alexie shared her initial thoughts on what the next chapter holds, emphasizing her commitment to the organization’s mission and giving back.
Alexie confirmed that her reign will involve traveling to different countries for various charity events.
While she is not “quite sure yet” about her specific destinations, she expressed enthusiasm for continuing the work of the Miss Eco International organization. She noted that she is “very excited for” what the organization has accomplished over the previous years.
“I mentioned last time that since my grandma passed away, I really don’t know which path to go or what to do in life. So I think this is a really good start for me of dedicating my life to be of service to other women,” Alexie said.
A key focus of Alexie's reign will be helping the organization further promote environmental awareness.
“I know that we’re going to be doing a lot of collaboration, and it’s something I'm excited to talk about later on,” she said.
Established in 2015, Miss Eco International focuses on promoting ecotourism and sustainability worldwide.
The organization aims to “champion various humanitarian issues through a media-driven mechanism, utilizing the platform of a beauty pageant with a humanitarian face.”
Alexie also revealed that she saw a series of remarkable signs in the lead-up to securing her crown, including the pageant’s connection to her roots as someone who came from a generational farmer family.
“It made sense ‘cause, ‘yun nga, I grew up in a generational farmer family and Miss Eco is just a way of me of promoting this. It is very important for me kasi I grew up—it is true [that] when I was in a young age, I would sell fruits and vegetables,” she said.
Alexie clinched the crown during the grand coronation night held at the Hilton Green Plaza in Alexandria, Egypt.
She also won the National Costume competition with her Philippine Eagle-inspired costume designed by Tata Pinuela.
Alexie’s win marked the Philippines’ third Miss Eco International crown, following Cynthia Thomalla in 2018 and Kathleen Paton in 2022.
