Katrina Halili opened up about her daughter, Katie, who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

On Monday's "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the Kapuso star shared that she found out about Katie's condition when she was around three years old.

Despite this, Katrina said she never got scared for her daughter, and bravely faced Katie’s condition.

“Mas more on hindi [natakot]. Mas more on ginamot. Meron kasing ibang tao ayaw eh. Galit. ‘No, hindi. Hindi ganun anak ko.’ May ganun eh. May mga naririnig po akong ganun. Ayaw. Therapy, ganiyan,” she shared.

Katrina also admitted that it was tough at first, saying that she would cry as there were times before when she couldn't be with her daughter.

“Medyo [mahirap]. Nag-tantrums ng bonggang-bongga,” she said, adding that she would often envy her friends who are together with their children.

“Mahirap, pero kailangang tanggapin mo. ’Yun lang."

Right now, Katrina shared that Katie is OK and described her as a sweet girl.

Katie is Katrina’s daughter with her ex-boyfriend, Kris Lawrence. She has said before that she and the singer have a co-parenting setup.

During her guesting on Monday, she also told Tito Boy she is "inspired" and that her heart is "happy," but did not go into much detail.

Her answer came over a year after her boyfriend, former Wao, Lanao Del Sur Vice Mayor Jeremy Guiab, passed away in January 2024.

Katrina currently stars in “Mommy Dearest” alongside Camille Prats, Shayne Sava, and Dion Ignacio. It airs weekdays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Afternoon Prime.
