Ruru Madrid’s work routine is now almost back to normal after he accidentally tore his hamstring while taping.

According to Lhar Santiago’s report on “24 Oras,” Tuesday, Ruru no longer needs a wheelchair or crutches on the set of “Lolong.”

The Kapuso Primetime Action Hero said that his doctor is happy for his fast recovery.

So sabi niya give it at least ipahinga mo ‘tong linggo na ‘to, tapos try natin mag-MRI ulit,” Ruru said.

Once his injury is fully healed, he will be given a clearance.

While Ruru is still recovering, Rochelle Pangilinan is the one taking on intense action scenes.

"Lolong: Pangil ng Maynila" airs weekdays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras" on GMA Prime.
